So a recent (and on going) trend has been the 'one nail different' trend (not a very original name, but it is late) and a trend which I have fully jumped on and will continue to sport on my talons.

This particular week I have decided to go for the sophisticated look of Barry M 'Peach Melba' and 'Yellow Topaz Glitter' - despite the continuing dire weather we seem to be getting I am determined to inject some spring colour!

Late night and early morning = a not very organized girl in the morning and perhaps an outfit to match.....but we all have days like that right?

what an awesome film....I am a fan of musicals at the best of time...but this was in a world of its own. So intense and so moving (made even more intense by Hugh Jackman's, at times haunting, look)...you felt every emotion of the characters.

It was also made better by a bit of eye candy thrown in, in the form of Eddie Redmayne and his pal Aaron Tveit...swoon

It was all i could do to hold back from singing along....don't think the rest of the cinema would have appreciated that!!?

I brought myself this very fetching Stella McCartney Marilyn Monroe Tee from TKMaxx a while ago now and have been itching to wear it....and now i totally can (although it did get a cheeky outing here and on instagram - but i couldn't not show it off!!)

I have teamed it today with these Zara sequin leggings (of which i purchased off eBay and yes my ankles are a little cold), an old Topshop blazer and a flash of red lippy to compliment Marilyn's nose.....now im ready for a fun-tastic red nose day

My love of interiors got me thinking and about a year ago I embarked on an interior design course with the regent academy in London. This is a distance learning course, which for a normally unmotivated person such as myself is a bit of a challenge. I started of pretty well, very enthusiastic and sending away an assignment every couple of weeks......unfortunately my motivation (not my enthusiasm, I hasten to add) has some what dwindled in recent months and its DEFO time started to pull my finger out again. This 'pulling of finger' came in the shape of signing up for another interior design course at a local college in my area (not quite solving my problem but none the less I am enjoying).

My dream job would to be to work in interior design.....hint hint anyone out there :).....so this, I am hoping, is a step in the right interior direction. Until then I will fill my days with coming up with ideas for my dream house, reading interior blogs and perusing through beautiful images on Pinterest.
