Your using what....??

....to do what??

Thinking outside the box is not something that I can say I am proficient in, but i think that I am getting better....but luckily other people are and Pinterest is perfect to find where these clever clever people have displayed their fabulous ideas!!

I love wallpaper, however I do think the standard 'feature walls' are starting to become a little dated and they are needing a little re-vamp. Out with the block colour and floral walls and in with something different

As you have prob seen before I love the idea of using things that aren't expected and these pics show just that!

Not only using something a little different but also stuff the feature wall....it's all about the feature ceiling!!

Interior Inspiration | Pallets

Things are not always....

....as they seem

I love it when you use an item for something that it wasn't originally designed for. Pallets are the perfect example of this and have been all over the place recently....well on Pinterest....being used for so many different thing....some of which I have shown here. People are so clever and I am so great full for their cleverness so that I can coo and dream over their ideas.

Picking up some of these isn't that easy' I have a friend who works in the building trade who is able to get me some....which also means what ever you are creating is not only rustic and homemade but cheap cheap cheap.....always a winner. The only thing you will need is patients and maybe a little help

I LOVE the idea and have always wanted to make my own garden furniture out of pallets....just need to get a garden first!!

Interior Inspiration | Bathroom

A girls grooming room.....

....needs to look as good as she does!

I think that sometimes bathrooms are the one room that can get a little neglected when it goes to doing something a little bit different or putting our own spin on it.....feature walls aren't just for bedrooms and living rooms people.

I love the idea of having a quirky bathroom.....wallpapering with old maps or vintage music paper etc. Having quirky storage (another blog post coming on this), and accessorising with pants and vintage item.....oh the possibilities.

This is only a small pic of the things that they do, if I had put everything I liked up here it would be nothing but pic after pic after pic if beautiful items......so get yourself over to hm.com to see for yourself.

And there is no way anyone could resist these adorable plates and cups....I LOVE them!!

Industrial interiors

Things.....

.....are not always as they seem.

I love a good interior, but even more than that I love the accessories that you use to make a room what it is. For a while now I have been a bug fan of the rustic industrial look and using this for a different purpose to what they were originally designed for.....and if I could afford to live in a old converted factory warehouse with bare brick walls and huge windows....it would be amazing. Oh to dream.

Instead I search Pinterest for the inspiration of how I could incorporate the rustic industrial look into my own little pad (when I eventually get it).

I went to a antiques/vintage fair this weekend with a friend and oh to have a place to put all of the things that I would have liked to buy (I am currently on the hunt for an old (nice looking) rake to mount on the wall and use to hold wine glasses' no such luck)......instead I saved my money and came away with nothing but images of stories that could possibly go with all the wonderful old pieces and possibly a small slice of fame.....only joking...but Bargain hunt was filming there and we did, not so subtlety, walk past the camera a few time. I will be on the look out for us :)
