OOTD #6

Forgot about the stripes....

....I'm all about the animal print.

Well...there is a reason for this. I love the stripe shirts that have been popping up around the high street recently...unfortunately, however hard I try I just end up looking like a robber...not such a good look. So, sticking to the monochrome I decided to go with another patterned shirt from Zara....the animal print, plus a figure that this print is always in fashion, a staple for any wardrobe...and I LOVE it!

War Horse

Just.....

....amazing....!

I went to see this awesomely touching play in London on Thursday with my family.
I went having not seen the film or read the book (which my mum and sister had and kept saying 'oh, they still haven't done......' - grrrr) and therefore I had no expectations of what it should or shouldn't contain.

I can hardly put into words how lovely the story was and how touching it was....the horses were amazing....they way in which they moved and had the character of horses.....by the end you had forgotten that they were nearly puppets and not real....a real come dent on those who controlled those horses.

In short I totally recommend going to see this.....but take the tissues :)

Interior Inspiration | Bathroom

A girls grooming room.....

....needs to look as good as she does!

I think that sometimes bathrooms are the one room that can get a little neglected when it goes to doing something a little bit different or putting our own spin on it.....feature walls aren't just for bedrooms and living rooms people.

I love the idea of having a quirky bathroom.....wallpapering with old maps or vintage music paper etc. Having quirky storage (another blog post coming on this), and accessorising with pants and vintage item.....oh the possibilities.

Face It #1

It's what's on the......

.....outside!

I have seen a few bloggers that I follow do this kind of post, and I know that I love them (due to my noses-ness) so thought that I would give one a go.

As it the holidays and I'm not up to much, this is the time I like to give my skin a bit of a break from the full on make-up experience and occasionally will go completely barefaced. However today I have had a few things that I have needed to do....and you never know who you are going to bump into so had to doll things up a little :)

On my face:
Garnier BB cream
Benefit Hoola
Benefit MoonBeam
Benefit Erase Paste
Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Moray
MaxFactor False Lash Effect Fusion Mascara
HD Brows in Ash Brown
MICA Bella Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Intelligence (Glossy Box)

Monochrome | Nails

No grey areas.....

.....it's all very black and white.

Have been experimenting with this years prominent trend....monochrome....and enjoying it.

I have used nails inc. in black and a Rimmel nail tip whitner for the white. For the delicate details I have used WAH nail pens, but have also discovered that you can use a marker pen or even a liquid eye liner to do the more delicate parts which is so much easier....just make sure that you use a top coat to make sure that it locks it in place.
